How to Enable Dark Mode for WhatsApp

So Facebook Inc finally decided to get on the dark train and rolled out dark mode for WhatsApp. Remember that most other apps including Instagram were already introduced to dark mode which has become very popular among users so it was no surprise that users quickly switched to the dark mode on WhatsApp once it was introduced early March after beta testing on both android and iOS.

“It’s designed to reduce eye strain in low light environments. And we hope it helps prevent those awkward moments where your phone lights up the room.”  WhatsApp said on their blog

If you are crazy about dark mode like I am and you want all your apps to be on dark mode including WhatsApp then here’s how you can switch to dark mode ASAP.

For Android 10 and iOS 13 users you can set dark mode by enabling it in the system settings.

The first step, of course, is to update your WhatsApp app, go on to your app store and do that then follow the instructions below to activate it.

iOS 13
Settings > Display & Brightness > select ‘Dark’

Android 10
Settings > Display > select ‘Dark Theme’

For Android 9 and lower you can activate dark mode for WhatsApp by going to WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Theme > select ‘Dark’

The beauty of Dark mode is that apart from the fact that it’s a beauty, it also helps save battery life so you too should consider switching to #DarkMode!

Music on the go: Where to download and access music online free and legal

Music on the go! For most of us, music performs a major role in our lives. It’s not just to entertain us which seems to be the primary purpose of music. It also helps to calm, soothe, console, inspire and so much more. Music has also been known to be used as a propaganda tool and as such has been used for both negative and positive campaigns. For me as a person, music helps to relax and also inspire me: you can call music my muse. When I am working on a project and I need inspiration, music comes in very handy, and I am sure it functions just as effective for most people. I listen to music all the time especially when I am on the go or in transit. This article is not an article about the various genres of music or about music producers, but it is inspired by a major question I have been asked by people who want a reliable source to get music especially on the go. As you know, our devices don’t come with music pre-loaded. Where and how do we get music into o...
