Rivers State Technology Creek, RivTechCreek It’s no longer news that the Creeks of the Niger Delta is usually associated with Violence, kidnapping, militancy, crude oil spillage, and theft among other negative vices but what’s news is the efforts of people to change that narrative and one group which is at the forefront of changing the negative narrative of violence in the creeks to that of a tech-powered region is the Rivers State Technology Creek also known as RivTechCreek. RivTechCreek has been at the forefront of training and equipping youths of the Niger Delta with technology skills. The Creek has trained over 5000 youths in various technology-based skills in just over eighteen months of its existence.
